Nursing Services

Nursing Services is a program taught at Crafton Hills College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Nursing Services at Crafton Hills College combines three certificates in one semester. Students learn skills to demonstrate safe and competent care for individuals of all ages, and apply principles of effective infection control, safety, and communication skills. The program also focuses on techniques that promote dignity and independence.

Training is offered on evenings and weekends, with an exception to the eight clinical days in the Acute Care Nursing Assistant course. Successful completion of all courses is required to finish the program. Students who complete the program are eligible to take the state exam to become certified as a CNA and to obtain a state HHA certificate.

After certification, graduates are eligible for full-time positions with benefits in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, home care, assisted living, and hospitals. The program also prepares graduates to work in intermediate care facilities, long-term care facilities, home health, Hospice, and hospitals for acute care.

The minimum requirements for admission in Nursing Services at Crafton Hills College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Crafton Hills College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Crafton Hills College as pre-requiste for admission in Nursing Services.
