Master of Public Administration

Master of Public Administration is a Masters program taught at CUNY Baruch College, USA. Intake: fall, spring, and summer semesters. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) at CUNY Baruch College prepares students for careers related to public policy, public management, and nonprofit management. Students build skills in budgeting, communication, economic analysis, fundraising, leadership and management, program evaluation, and research methods. Coursework covers U.S. government and public policies in areas such as immigration, the environment, housing, economic development, health care, and foreign affairs.

The curriculum combines 8 core classes (24 credits) with electives (5 electives, with an option to specialize, for 15 credits) and a capstone (3 credits). If required, students complete an internship course (3 credits). The program can be completed full-time (9 credits or more per semester) or part-time (less than 9 credits per semester), and classes are offered during the evening in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. A fully online asynchronous format is also available.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Public Administration at CUNY Baruch College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by CUNY Baruch College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by CUNY Baruch College as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Public Administration.
