Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Actuarial Studies for Business major prepares students for a career path in the insurance industry. It also prepares students for a series of actuarial examinations.

Admission for Actuarial Studies majors requires a GPA and grade minimums. Students must also plan for Math 242, because it closes quickly and may close during preregistration. Requests must be submitted no later than the first week of the semester planned for registering for Math 242.

• Admission requires a GPA of 2.5 (subject to revision) in the first four courses listed below.
• The minimum GPA is 2.0 for courses taken for the major in finance at Queens College.
• No Individual Grade below C- is accepted.
• No more than 21 credits can be transferred into the program from other colleges.
