Introduction

Culinary Arts Technology is a program taught at East Central Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Culinary Arts Technology at East Central Community College provides training in the methods and science of cooking through exposure to Classical American and International Cuisines, plus Baking and Pastry. The program includes three award options: a 30 Hour Career Certificate for basic entry-level skills, a 45 Hour Technical Certificate for advanced coursework above entry level skills, and an Associate of Applied Science degree with academic classes necessary for an AAS degree.

Students also develop critical problem-solving through product research, evaluation, and presentation; communication through group challenges and client interface; and teamwork, leadership, and networking through group projects, delegation, and discussion.
