Media Arts

Media Arts is a program taught at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (three-semester program) options.

Eastern New Mexico University–Roswell Campus offers Media Arts with three tracks: Graphic Design, Film Technology, and Game Design. The Film Technology track prepares students for careers in the film industry and uses application-based classes that lead to actual film production in the third semester. The Graphic Design track prepares students for the digital production marketplace through work in visual concepts, layout, and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

The Game Design track prepares students for careers in the video game software industry. Students can continue on to a four-year degree after completing the Certificate of Occupational Training. Program options include Film Technology with an Associate of Applied Science and a Certificate of Employability, Graphic Design with an Associate of Applied Science and a Certificate of Employability, and Game Design with a Certificate of Occupational Training.

The minimum requirements for admission in Media Arts at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus as pre-requiste for admission in Media Arts.

• All lectures and corresponding labs must be taken simultaneously.
• Students must have an ENMU Campus System cumulative grade point average of 2.0 in order to meet graduation requirements.
• All students must take the University Skills Placement Test prior to entering the program.
