Introduction

Practical Nursing (PN) is a program taught at ECPI University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (15 Month PN Diploma) options.

The Practical Nursing (PN) diploma at ECPI University introduces nursing basics with a focus on critical thinking, communication, and theory. Students learn nursing foundations, patient care fundamentals (including vital signs, daily living activities, medication administration, and wound care), and assessment techniques to support patients’ physical and emotional well-being and to report potential problems to supervising nurses or doctors.

Delivery is an accelerated year-round, on-campus program built around hands-on learning through labs and simulations. The curriculum prepares students for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. After passing, the practical nurse is eligible to take licensure to become an LPN.

Admission Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission in Practical Nursing (PN) at ECPI University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
