RN to BS in Nursing Jump Start
Introduction
RN to BS in Nursing Jump Start is a Bachelor program taught at Excelsior University, USA. Intake: October. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
BS in Nursing Jump Start is a provisional admission pathway to Excelsior University’s RN to BS in Nursing program. It is designed for nurses who want to begin bachelor’s-level coursework while awaiting NCLEX-RN results. Students receive up to 30 credits for prior education and the successful completion of NCLEX-RN, and degree requirements total 120 credits.
The program is offered as an asynchronous online option. Students can apply for provisional acceptance and take up to 3 courses right away. After passing the NCLEX-RN and submitting final transcripts, students are fully admitted into the RN to BS in Nursing program with up to 8 nursing credits already completed.
The Jump Start option is for graduates of an RN diploma program of nursing, and for graduates of an accredited college or university in the United States with an associate degree in nursing. Graduates of an associate degree program must apply to the BS in Nursing program within six months of graduating.
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in RN to BS in Nursing Jump Start at Excelsior University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Excelsior University as pre-requiste for admission in RN to BS in Nursing Jump Start.
