3+2 Dual Degree in Engineering
Introduction
3+2 Dual Degree in Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Goucher College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The 3+2 Dual Degree in Engineering lets students study liberal arts and sciences at Goucher College while building professional knowledge in an engineering field, earning two bachelor’s degrees. Students complete Goucher degree requirements (typically in a science major such as engineering science) and take math, programming, and science prerequisites that match the engineering major they plan to pursue at Columbia University.
After completing the Goucher requirements, students apply to transfer to Columbia University to complete a B.S. degree in engineering at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. Students then graduate with both the B.A. and B.S. when all degree requirements have been fulfilled. During the program, students are considered Goucher students during their first phase of study and Columbia students during the later phase.
