Culinary Arts
Introduction
Culinary Arts is a program taught at Hudson Valley Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Culinary Arts program helps students build skills for entry-level positions in the food service industry. Students train in hot and cold food production, entrée preparation, soups, stocks and sauces, scratch baking and pastry arts, kitchen equipment use, knife skills, and weights, measures, and mixing methods. The curriculum also includes American regional and international cuisine, as well as classical and contemporary cuisine.
