Bachelor's in Earth Science
Introduction
Earth Science is a Bachelor program taught at ICI University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Earth Science major at ICI University (Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences) prepares students with applied and theoretical knowledge of Earth’s physical environment. Students study geology, weather and climate, hydrology, and astronomical relationships, using field, laboratory, and computational methods to gather and interpret Earth systems data. The program supports geoscience careers focused on environmental problem solving, natural hazard monitoring and protection, and policy-making.
Students build their learning through Earth Science core courses that cover Physical Geography, Introduction to Geographic Research, Introduction to Maps, Quantitative Methods, Physical Geology (with a lab), Geographic Information Systems, Weather and Climate, and a capstone research course: Earth and Environmental Science Capstone Research or Human-Environment Capstone. The program also includes a geology elective, chosen from a list shown on the program requirements page.
