Certificate of General Studies C

Certificate of General Studies C is a Diploma program taught at J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year (2 full-time semesters)) options.

The Certificate of General Studies C is a one-year college program built around lower-division general education requirements. Students take courses that the program describes as transferable and that satisfy those general education requirements at any Virginia public institution of higher education. Course choices include PSY 200 (Principles of Psychology), SOC 200 (Principles of Sociology), and CST 100 (Principles of Public Speaking), supported by seven course blocks within the program.

Students complete the program in 1 year (2 full-time semesters). The program learning options include In-Person, Hybrid, and 100% Online. The certificate requires students to complete an appropriate number of courses within each of the seven course blocks. The program also states that students should carefully consider course selection because it is not designed to capture the complexities of individual programs of study at the four-year level.
