Introduction

The Master Plan Update for Kentucky State University is a flexible planning document intended to unify the campus by overcoming physical barriers that separate the North, South, and Athletic campuses. It provides a general roadmap for the University to set and meet physical growth and development goals.
The plan recommends moving vehicular circulation to the outer edges of campus. It also recommends providing pedestrian bridges to connect the campus and creating gateway entrances, reinforcing existing and creating new pedestrian linkages within the core, and developing the existing athletic complex. These building and site recommendations support continued growth and development.
