Applied Science
Introduction
Applied Science is a Bachelor program taught at Lehigh University, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Lehigh University’s Applied Science undergraduate major helps students create interdisciplinary specialties by combining a general engineering education with a customized concentration in engineering and/or science and another area of emphasis. Students choose subject-area concentrations that reflect academic interests they want to integrate. The core provides tools for identifying connections between concentrations and supports interdisciplinary problem-solving and critical thinking.
Each student’s curriculum is built from the general engineering education plus a carefully customized concentration in engineering and/or science alongside an additional emphasis. Students use the core to link their chosen concentrations and apply critical thinking. The program prepares students for careers in fields that span academic disciplines, including technical communications, digital media, entertainment science, education, law, medicine, technology management, technology marketing, engineering, and architecture.
