Introduction

BIOLOGY is a Bachelor program taught at Marist College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Biology Degree program at Marist University is a B.S. that prepares students to study living systems through laboratory research, fieldwork, and scientific inquiry. Students explore areas such as genetics, physiology, and cellular biology, and they conduct experiments, analyze data, and produce scientific work through faculty-mentored research. The BS in Biology offers two concentrations: Biological Sciences and Human Biology, and there is also a BS in Biomedical Sciences.

Learning emphasizes hands-on laboratory and field-based work, with opportunities for applied projects and research experiences. Students contribute to environmental protection and conservation work connected to the Hudson River by removing hazardous water chestnuts and materials, and they conduct research in the field as early as their first year. Biology and Biomedical Sciences students are strongly encouraged or required to complete at least one internship in their desired field.
