Associate Degree in Nursing Bridge
Introduction
Associate Degree in Nursing Bridge is a Diploma program taught at Mayland Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (Two semesters after completing the NUR 215 course) options.
The Associate Degree Nursing Bridge (Paramedic to ADN) at Mayland Community College is an accelerated path for currently certified Paramedics to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Students complete the NUR 215 course and then progress to an ADN with minimal repetition of skills and knowledge they have already learned. The program prepares students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Instruction is delivered in a hybrid format. Students complete online coursework and attend weekly in-person class meetings on campus. The program also includes weekend clinicals at designated clinical sites, with required attendance at campus and assigned clinical locations. Specific meeting days, times, and the clinical schedule are provided at program orientation, which is scheduled near the end of the semester before the program begins.
