Bachelor's in Communication

Communication is a Bachelor program taught at Meredith College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Communication major at Meredith College prepares students for careers in business, journalism, public relations, media, nonprofit, government, law, and education. Students learn communication theories and practices and develop skills to analyze and interpret contemporary media, influence attitudes, beliefs, and values through written and oral communication, and solve problems.

The program combines classroom learning with hands-on experiences, including internships. All communication majors must complete at least one internship, working a minimum of 120 hours during the semester and earning three hours of academic credit. Students also complete core requirements and then choose one of three communication tracks: Communication Studies, Mass Communication, or Public Relations.
