Introduction

Metropolitan State College of Denver offers an Economics B.A. or B.S. fully online. Students study microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, with an approach to thinking about human behavior and the world. The B.A. is more academic and policy-oriented, while the B.S. focuses on practical, applied knowledge and analytical skills for business, with additional emphasis on quantitative coursework.

The program is 100% online with flexible study from home. Students receive individualized attention, access to free 24/7 tutoring, and online library services and writing support. A dedicated Student Success Coach helps plan a term, map transfer credit, and stay on track. Advising and career services are available online as well.

The degree supports multiple directions after graduation. The program lists career options such as Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Policy Analyst, Market Research Analyst, Data Analyst, Management Consultant, Economic Consultant, and Actuary, plus options for graduate study in areas that value advanced degrees.
