The Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSCRCMHC) at Montana State University - Billings provides live and online coursework and fieldwork experiences. The program has two specialty tracks: Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Both tracks require different coursework and internship experiences, as required by CACREP.

Instruction is delivered in a hybrid, online and/or hyflex format. Students in the distance education program come to the campus for two classes: REHA/COU 523 Advanced Group Counseling and REHA/COU 590 Pre-practicum. Those classes are offered summer and spring semester as a hybrid, with three on-campus days and the balance online. Practicum and internship experiences can be arranged in local communities with a qualified supervisor and site.

Coursework from the program may be used to prepare for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC in Montana). Graduates report employment in rehabilitation and mental health roles such as Rehabilitation Counselors, Mental Health Counselors, Chemical Dependency Counselors, and Therapist.
