Introduction

Child/Youth Advocate is a program taught at North Shore Community College, USA. Intake: Fall. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year) options.

The Child/Youth Advocate Certificate at North Shore Community College prepares students to work with children, youth, and their families. Students focus on prevention, intervention, and treatment strategies, with training for treatment settings such as schools, community agencies, residential programs, hospitals, and family homes.

Coursework is offered during the day at the Lynn campus. The program includes field placement training so students can apply learned concepts in real-world settings. Students can complete the certificate in as little as one year, and earned credits can be applied toward NSCC’s Human Services Practitioner Associate Degree program.
