Introduction

Art with K-12 Endorsement is a Bachelor program taught at Peru State College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Art with K-12 Endorsement is an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts major at Peru State College in the School of Arts & Sciences. Students develop fluency in visual language by using elements and principles of design to communicate messages to targeted audiences. The program includes theoretical and practical learning to help students craft cohesive bodies of work using a range of media and technologies, with courses such as Drawing, 3D Foundations, and Graphic Design.

Learning is delivered through on-campus study and is organized around three major tracks: studio art, graphic design, and art education. Studio art and graphic design tracks build skills in traditional and digital visual arts, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, print and web design, animation, and illustration. Students also work in facilities such as a design lab, a ceramics lab, and a sculpture studio.
