Introduction

The Business & Enterprise Management (BEM) major is a Bachelor of Science designed to preserve a generalist business curriculum. Students study business through a classroom curriculum that includes courses such as Quantitative Analysis I, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Marketing, Legal Environment of Business, and Strategic Management. Students also complete a practicum experience made up of a required Management Internship plus a reflective overview and personal portfolio component.
The program includes a professional development workshop series and a Capstone Leadership Experience. BEM also includes a 3-course concentration and a structure for the required organizational behavior and strategic management courses. Students can choose an enumerated concentration (Marketing; International Business; New Business Development; Management Consulting) or build their own area of expertise.
