One track focuses on homeland security and is designed for criminal justice practitioners who want in-depth doctoral-level study and an academic focus on decision-making and best practices across local, state, and federal levels. The second track focuses on education and is designed for individuals who want to teach within graduate criminal justice programs. Students complete 60 credit hours and typically take three and a third years of coursework.
The DCJ is delivered online and includes three short residencies as part of the curriculum. The first residency is at University Campus in Saint Leo, Florida.
