Introduction

Masters Degree in Biotechnology is a Masters program taught at Saint Mary's College of California, USA. Intake: Fall semester. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Professional Science Master’s in Biotechnology at Saint Mary’s College of California focuses on biotechnology with an emphasis on legal, social, and ethical issues. Students study tailored courses on the business of biotechnology and work through hands-on research using industry-standard laboratories. The program includes support for career planning and practical skills such as networking, interviewing, and resume-building.

Learning is structured as a hybrid format. Evening remote classes are held during the week, and in-person lectures and labs are held on Saturdays in Moraga. Students work toward an internship or a professional development project in the final semester, and faculty help students align their career goals with practical workplace experience.

The program is intended for both recent graduates and working professionals, and it begins new cohorts during the Fall semester. Graduates go on to work as scientists and project managers, and some continue as research associates, business-research liaisons, or sales specialists.
