Chemistry at Santiago Canyon College is a comprehensive general education and transfer program for students in chemistry. The department’s mission is to help students understand and appreciate chemistry by promoting scientific literacy and encouraging curiosity.

Chemistry classes are designed to build awareness of chemical substances and chemical reactions. The program prepares students for a professional career in a variety of fields and supports transfer to a 4-year institution that leads to a baccalaureate degree.

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Santiago Canyon College as pre-requiste for admission in Chemistry.
