Introduction
Business Administration (Accounting) is a Bachelor program taught at Southern Oregon State College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Business Administration (Accounting Concentration) is offered as a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science major. Students study the foundations of Business Administration and prepare for business with an interactive class environment, one-on-one comprehensive professional instruction, and guidance.
The program includes a capstone project that applies skills and knowledge gained through the School of Business experience. The capstone culminates in a comprehensive business plan designed collaboratively by the student and the student’s advisor, testing and using overall business knowledge.
Students may use this accounting-focused degree to pursue roles such as financial experts, system professionals, management consultants, and budget analysts. Career options mentioned include becoming a CPA, partnering in an accounting firm, working in finance or corporate management, working in government, or becoming an entrepreneur.
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Business Administration (Accounting) at Southern Oregon State College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
