The Health & Exercise Science (Clinical Exercise Science Concentration) BA/BS is for pre-professional students planning to apply to graduate programs leading to clinical health degrees, including physical therapists, physician assistants, and occupational therapists. The concentration provides training in the application of exercise science for prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and conditions, human performance, health and well-being, and other allied health related skills.

Students develop an understanding of how the human body responds to, changes with, and benefits from exercise. The curriculum includes science-based coursework and integrates internship components for real-world working experience. The program also includes a capstone designed to help students integrate interests with concepts from Health and Exercise Science and to use skills, methodology, and knowledge developed across the undergraduate curriculum.

The minimum requirements for admission in Health & Exercise Science (Clinical Exercise Science Concentration) at Southern Oregon State College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Southern Oregon State College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Southern Oregon State College as pre-requiste for admission in Health & Exercise Science (Clinical Exercise Science Concentration).
