Bachelor's in Innovation and Leadership

Innovation and Leadership is a Bachelor program taught at Southern Oregon State College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Innovation and Leadership BS at Southern Oregon State College is an interdisciplinary degree designed to engage working professionals in leadership, organizational change, communication skills, and industry trends. Students build an operating understanding of organizational leadership and culture, theories about individual and group behaviors, and how to apply innovative solutions to organizational systems using data analysis techniques, emerging media tools, creativity, and critical thinking.

Students analyze the legal, ethical, financial, and physical environment in which an organization operates, and they develop increased skill in effective communication using technological tools, interpersonal skills, and writing techniques. The degree includes sixteen courses of the major offered over a 21 month period. It can be completed through accelerated, in-person classes scheduled in 5-week modules, or through fully online 10-week classes, and it supports credit for prior learning (CPL).

The program is for people with one to two years of previous college experience, at least five years of work experience beyond the entry level, and a desire to lead, innovate, collaborate, and think creatively. The capstone focuses on applying innovative leadership skills by exploring a proposed organizational change.

The minimum requirements for admission in Innovation and Leadership at Southern Oregon State College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Southern Oregon State College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Southern Oregon State College as pre-requiste for admission in Innovation and Leadership.
