Master Cybersecurity

Master Cybersecurity is a Masters program taught at St. Mary's University, USA. Intake: fall, spring or summer. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Science in Cybersecurity at St. Mary’s University is a 33-credit-hour program covering network security, software security, digital forensics and cybercrime, and cybersecurity policy and law. Students also choose electives such as Cloud Computing Security, Wireless Security and Cybersecurity Risk Management.

The degree includes an experiential option through either a capstone project with a written report and oral presentation or a thesis defended orally before a committee. Students also have the option of an internship at a San Antonio-area tech company or other organization. Classes are available in-person and online.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master Cybersecurity at St. Mary's University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by St. Mary's University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by St. Mary's University as pre-requiste for admission in Master Cybersecurity.

To be considered for admission to the program, applicants must:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for their bachelor’s degree.
• Résumé/CV.
• Submit a completed application, a written statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation and official college transcripts.

International graduate applicants must demonstrate proof of English proficiency with these minimum scores in one of the following:

• TOEFL iBT: 80
• IELTS: 6.0
• Duolingo English Test: 115+
