Bachelor's in Astrophysics

Field experiences include visits to Kitt Peak National Observatory and NASA-funded summer research opportunities involving analysis of images from the Hubble Space Telescope, computational simulations of gravitational waves from black hole collisions, and ground-based studies of open star clusters.

The program is designed for students aiming at careers in astronomy and space sciences or related fields. It prepares students for roles that require problem-solving, data analysis, image processing, and analytic skills, with faculty collaboration on publishable research projects.
