Master Class China
Introduction
Master Class China is a Masters program taught at Stephen F. Austin State University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Master Class China is a piano master class connected to the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music. Dr. Andrew Parr, professor of piano at SFA, performs and conducts the master class for piano students and teachers in China. The format includes listening to student performances and providing critiques.
In Hong Kong, Dr. Parr conducted a master class before an advanced piano class of about 60 students. He listened to four students play and critiqued their performances. The activities also involve recruiting discussions for graduate studies at SFA, including graduate assistantships and scholarships.
