Data Science
Introduction
Data Science is a program taught at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Ph. D. in Data Science at Stevens Institute of Technology is an interdisciplinary program across the Stevens School of Computing and the Stevens School of Business. Students master principles, methods, and systems for extracting insights from rich data sets. Faculty mentorship supports research that applies theories, techniques, and applications in practical data science.
Students study theoretical underpinnings of data science, including machine learning and artificial intelligence. They also work on applications of data science to financial services and to the life sciences. The curriculum includes mathematical and statistical modelling, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, computational systems, and data management at scale, with research alongside Stevens faculty.
