Earn a High School Diploma

Earn a High School Diploma is a Diploma program taught at Sussex County Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency Program at Sussex County Community College helps adults prepare for and earn a high school diploma through small-group, self-paced instruction. Students focus on reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.

Instruction is individualized and tailored to each student’s level of mastery. Students set their pace through regular attendance and focus on a program of study determined by instructors based on entering skill levels. Classes run in specific weekly blocks with set days and times, and the Pearson Vue GED Test is administered weekly at the college’s Testing Center.

The program is free to participants through funding from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Eligibility starts at age 16, with additional consent requirements for younger participants.
