Master Plan
Introduction
Master Plan is a Masters program taught at University of Alaska - Southeast, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
This program centers on developing a campus master plan for University of Alaska Southeast campuses in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka. It includes a review of facilities and infrastructure and a planning document intended to guide facilities and infrastructure management for at least the next ten years. The master plan also supports capital improvement planning through budget requests tied to capital projects.
The process is built around campus and stakeholder input and includes analysis and assessment, big ideas and concepts, a preliminary plan and implementation, and documentation and presentation. The work is supported by a master plan advisory committee and a consultant team hired through an RFP, along with committee review before board approval.
