Introduction

Early Childhood Education is a Bachelor program taught at University of Florida-Online, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Bachelor of Arts in Education in Early Childhood Education is an undergraduate teacher preparation program focused on children aged three through grade three and their families. Students study early childhood education with an emphasis on evidence-based and developmentally appropriate teaching practices, and they connect course content with field experiences. The program uses a transdisciplinary approach to teacher education and includes a research-to-practice foundation for early childhood education.

The program is approved as a comprehensive and completely online undergraduate teacher preparation program. Practical experiences require physical presence in Florida. Students complete field experiences that support intentionally connected learning across course content. The degree also supports initial teacher certification in prekindergarten through grade 3 in Florida and prepares graduates to work with young children with and without disabilities, including socio-culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
