Masters Mentor Professor Corey Saft is a Masters program taught at University of Louisiana at Lafeyette, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
This course experience is built around a studio course, ARCH 509, the Master’s Project, which supports a student transition into professional practice. Professor Corey Saft, a licensed architect and LEED-AP, provides mentorship that includes critical but caring feedback tied to students’ efforts and to research and scholarship.
The studio environment centers on learning through work interactions and mentorship from faculty, local professionals, and subject matter experts. Students manage a team in the process while Saft guides how to work with a team and how to bring their own values and intentions through the architectural skill set they have learned. Saft also works with graduate research assistants on interactive Story Maps, mixed income housing proposal support, and pro-bono design work for a women’s shelter.
