Introduction

MSc Student Resources is a Masters program taught at University of Mount Olive, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The University of Mount Olive offers an M.S. in Counseling Student Resources handbook for students enrolled in the M.S. in Counseling program. The program focuses on professional dispositions for becoming capable, effective, and ethical counselors, with evaluation of non-academic factors such as attitudes, skills, judgments, and related characteristics.

Students receive formal and informal feedback from professors and site supervisors, and assessments occur throughout the application process, coursework, and into professional experience in practicum and internship. Dispositional issues may lead to a remediation plan, followed by re-evaluation. Students are informed about dispositions during the interview process, orientation meetings, and review of the student handbook with faculty mentors, and they sign an acknowledgement of having read and understood the dispositions.
