The University of North Texas offers an Interdisciplinary Studies Master’s with a concentration in Advanced Data Analytics (Master of Science). The concentration gives students understanding of fundamental concepts in contemporary data analytics methods, plus experience obtaining, wrangling, and learning from big data using machine learning and deep learning tools. Core courses focus on applying theory and tools to solve real-world problems in business, industry, and science.

The program is a 30 graduate credit hour degree across advanced data analytics and two other fields of study. Students work with an advisor to identify supporting fields and to complete an appropriate capstone experience. Classes can be taken in person at Frisco or Denton locations, or 100% online. Course content includes hands-on projects, such as data harvesting projects, visualization practice, and discovery and statistical learning software projects.
