Medicine (pre-professional)
Introduction
Medicine (pre-professional) is a program taught at Wabash College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Medicine (pre-professional) at Wabash College is a pre-med track within a Wabash liberal arts degree. Students study courses drawn from biology, chemistry, psychology, physics, and other disciplines within the Humanities to meet academic requirements for a pre-med degree.
The program supports academic preparation alongside activities such as community service and opportunities for professional exposure. Students can take part in medical internships, shadowing, and gap year experiences, and they are encouraged to participate in the WabashX Global Health Initiative throughout their four years. When applying and interviewing for medical school, a Pre-Health Advisor helps with standardized tests and applications, and the Pre-Health Committee generates a committee letter of recommendation.
