The program provides a broad base of general education knowledge and lays a foundation for a career in education. It was designed in conjunction with the Iowa Regents Universities to help students transfer into elementary education programs.
The program is transferable and can also be followed by students who plan to transfer to another college or university, but it is critical to confer with the intended transfer institution early.
