Respiratory Therapy Program

Respiratory Therapy Program is a program taught at YTI Career Institute, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (20 months) options.

The Respiratory Therapy Program at YTI Career Institute prepares students for a career as respiratory therapists. Students work toward an Associate in Specialized Technology degree and develop competence in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains used in respiratory care practice performed by registered respiratory therapists (RRTs). The program includes National Board for Respiratory Care test prep, with the first test fee included.

Instruction combines online, asynchronous classes for lecture and lab with in-person learning and on-campus labs. Students attend in-person learning two days per week beginning in third term, and labs are conducted on campus. Clinical rotations are performed at an approved site near you, with clinical assignments averaging 12 hours per week in terms 4-8. Currently, new enrollments are not accepted; currently enrolled students complete the program through an approved teach-out plan.

The minimum requirements for admission in Respiratory Therapy Program at YTI Career Institute for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by YTI Career Institute.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by YTI Career Institute as pre-requiste for admission in Respiratory Therapy Program.
