Bachelor of Business Administration in Police and Security Studies

Bachelor of Business Administration in Police and Security Studies is a Bachelor program taught at Bindura University of Science Education, Zimbabwe. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 year degree course) options.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Police and Security Studies at Bindura University of Science Education is a three-year degree delivered in collaboration with Zimbabwe Republic Police. It includes criminal investigation, criminal law, administrative law, powers of police officers, criminal investigation techniques, forensic science (theories, finding and recovering scientific evidence, and what forensic science is capable of), and criminology.

The programme combines police and security studies with business administration and accountancy. It is organised into Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, including industrial attachment in Part 1 (Industrial Attachment I) and Part 2 (Industrial Attachment 2), plus modules such as Financial Accounting, Auditing Principles and Procedures, Business Administration, Company Law, and Research Methods.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration in Police and Security Studies at Bindura University of Science Education for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Bindura University of Science Education.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Bindura University of Science Education as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration in Police and Security Studies.

To qualify, applicants must over and above the stated attributes, meet the following basic requirements in terms of the general regulations.

• Have obtained at least 5 O’ level subject at Grade (C) or better including English Language and Mathematics;
• In addition, have obtained two (2) passes at A’ level in any two of the following subjects: – History, Literature in English, Geography, Accounts, Economics, Business Studies or Management of Business.
• Holders of a certificate or Diploma in Police and Security Studies or equivalent will qualify for admission under mature of special entry rule of the general regulations
