Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Health and Production Extension Bschahpe is a Bachelor program taught at Bindura University of Science Education, Zimbabwe. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (four years) options.

The Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Health and Production Extension (BScHAHPE) focuses on animal health factors affecting the livestock industry and approaches to address animal health challenges. Students study animal production and disease-related areas, including veterinary diagnostics and pharmacology, veterinary epidemiology, principles of animal health and production, and animal welfare. The programme also includes knowledge for extension, information dissemination, and communication in the livestock health sector.

Teaching and learning are organised across four years with Part I, Part II, Part III, and Part IV. Industrial Attachment is done in Part III. Practical agricultural experience includes Agricultural Practice (AGP 103) with practicals, field visits, and assignments, and Industrial Attachment (AGP 301) with an attachment to a relevant organization/institution for at least eight months, producing a report at the end.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Health and Production Extension Bschahpe at Bindura University of Science Education for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Bindura University of Science Education.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Bindura University of Science Education as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Health and Production Extension Bschahpe.

At least five Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Science, and Mathematics with grade C or better.

Advanced Level passes in at least two subjects as follows:

• Category 1: Any two of the following, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics and Food Science.
• Category 2: Any one of the following: Mathematics or Geography in addition to any one subject in Category 1.

A candidate who holds at least a National Diploma in Agriculture or Animal Health and Production or a related field recognized by Senate for this purpose, may, be admitted to the first year of the degree programme provided that he/she has attained an approved standard of performance in his/her diploma course.
