Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing

Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing is a Bachelor program taught at Bindura University of Science Education, Zimbabwe. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing covers core courses in financial accounting, business law, business administration, quantitative analysis for business, business communication, company law, marketing principles, and economics, alongside computer science and a foreign language option (French or Chinese). Students also study management, consumer and buyer behavior, marketing research, research methods, public relations, international marketing, entrepreneurship, marketing communication, sales management, retail management, financial aspects of marketing, marketing information systems, and additional marketing topics in Part IV.

Teaching is assessed through coursework assessment and a formal written examination. For each course, the coursework and examination carry weightings of 30% and 70% of the final assessment, respectively. Courses include written examinations of two or three hours at the end of the appropriate semester. Industrial Attachment is assessed using supervisor reports, supervisor assessment visits, and student industrial training reports; the Project Course includes a dissertation and may include a seminar or an oral examination.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing at Bindura University of Science Education for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Bindura University of Science Education.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Bindura University of Science Education as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing.

To qualify for normal entry into the Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) degree in Marketing at Bindura University of Science Education, prospective students, in addition to satisfying the minimum conditions prescribed under the General Regulations, must

• Have obtained at least five ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics passed with a Grade C or better,
• Have obtained one A’ level commercial subject (Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Studies And Geography) plus any other A’ level subject

NB: Special or Mature Entry admissions shall be in accordance with the General Regulations.
