Diploma in Science Education Mathematics and Geography

The Diploma in Science Education - Mathematics and Geography (Dip.ScEdMG) is a full-time course offered by Bindura University of Science Education. Mathematics courses include Pure Mathematics 1, Statistics 1, Applied Education in Mathematics 1, Mechanics 1, and additional mathematics modules through to ICT in Mathematics Education.

Teaching-focused general courses include Theoretical Foundations of Education, Basic Communication Skills, Curriculum Study, Health Education, Pedagogics, Conflict Transformation, Pre-Practicum, Practicum, and Research Methods and Project. The programme is full time and takes 3 years. Students also study geography modules such as Introduction to Physical Geography, Introduction to Human Geography, and Techniques and Skills in Physical Geography.
