Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics is a Bachelor program taught at Women's University in Africa, Zimbabwe. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (four years full time) options.

The Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics prepares students for professional Business Intelligence and Data Analytics practice in a wide range of contexts. Students build knowledge and skills to master, acquire, formulate, design, implement, and administer business and data analytics in modern business. The programme also includes knowledge and skills for interventions in mitigating business problems in complex situations, including financial intelligence.

Delivery follows a structured programme in which students complete a minimum of thirty-three courses and a project on an approved Business Intelligence and Data Analytics problem. Normal evaluation uses continuous assessment with an end-of-course examination. Course work accounts for 30% and the examination accounts for 70%. Students go on attachment for the whole year during the third year, and to register for the project they must pass KBM225 Business Research Methods in the second year.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Women's University in Africa for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Women's University in Africa.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Women's University in Africa as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.

For all entry pathways candidates must have at least five Ordinary Level subjects/ National Foundation Certificates including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject at grade C or better

• Normal Entry: A minimum of 2 A’ Level passes in Mathematics AND (Physics OR Computer Science OR any other relevant Science subject).

• Special Entry: Special entry may be granted to applicants with a National Diploma in Computer Science or any related field from a recognized institution.

• Mature Entry: Should be at least 23 years old AND should have at least 2 years relevant industrial experience.
