European Society of Hypertension Summer School Overview
International students are invited to apply for summer school in 2024 by the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) for the years 2023–2024. Young European and non-European fellows who constitute the upcoming generation of hypertension clinicians will form a hypertension network as a result of the ESH Summer Schools.
Study by the European Society of Hypertension on Professor Alberto Zanchetti’s behalf on Blood Pressure Control in ESH Excellence Centres. The European Society of Hypertension’s main goal is to enhance blood pressure management and raise blood pressure control, which will reduce cardiovascular risk, early cardiovascular and renal morbidity and death, and additionally lower the cost of healthcare.

Travel grants will be provided by ESH for countries facing economic hardship.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the European Society of Hypertension Summer School, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Required Language: English
- Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide
- Younger candidates strongly devoted to hypertension, with a focus on both basic research and clinical practice.
- Although there is no specific age limit, candidates below the age of 40 are preferred.
Please note that the ESH Summer School is a once-in-a-lifetime event, meaning each participant can attend the course only once in their life.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for the European Society of Hypertension Summer School:
- At least two candidates from each country (larger countries may send more than two applications) should be nominated by National Societies of Hypertension in Europe and submitted by May 01, 2024.
- Complete the membership application form.
- The nomination should include a brief CV of the applicant, including their contact details. Each National Society of Hypertension will be informed about the selection of candidates in June.
