Explanation of Surah Al-Kafroon

Al-Kafrron means the infidels. This Surah is an early Meccan Surah, When the  infidels of Mecca tried to bring back prophet ((PBUH) to old faith. Some of the  infidels including valid bin Mughira gave an idea to the prophet that a  compromise should be concluded between infidels and the Prophet (PBUH).  According to which the prophet was said to revert to their faith for period of  one-year and then they would accept his faith for the same period.
Allah  revealed this surah condemning the offer of the infidels because there was no  compromise on this matter.
