The Master Biologie - Santé, parcours Signalisation cellulaire et moléculaire (SCM) trains students in cellular and molecular biology with a focus on analysis of cellular signalling and cell communication. It covers topics linked to immune response, tumor pathologies, neurosciences, lipid metabolism disorders, and signalling in plant cells. The curriculum combines teaching with work on preparing for professional life and personal or team work for bibliographic analysis and project management.
Teaching includes master-level lectures, supervised tutorials (travaux dirigés), and practical work (travaux pratiques) in the first year. The programme includes two mandatory professional immersion placements in research laboratories. Master 1 includes a placement of 2 months for a research project in a public or private lab in France or abroad. Master 2 includes a placement of 6 months for a research project on cellular and molecular signalling, with laboratory best-practice requirements.
