Tbilisi State University: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Tbilisi State University is a public university in Georgia and suits students looking for a bachelor’s option at a large, established institution. It currently shows a limited programme listing, so it is best for applicants who are prepared to check the full offer directly before applying.

  2. What you can study

The listed study option is BBA (Economics) at Bachelor's Degree level. The programme catalogue appears limited in the public listing, so confirm the current full range of courses and degree options on the university website before you apply.

  3. Getting in

Applications for international students should be checked on the university’s official website, since the application steps and document requirements are not specified here. Before applying, confirm the entry requirements for your chosen bachelor’s programme, whether supporting documents need translation or legalization, and how the university handles international applications.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee range, so confirm the current fee directly with the admissions office. Living costs in Tbilisi will depend on housing, transport, food, and personal spending, so budget separately for those expenses.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not specified, so confirm it before you apply. You should also check visa requirements, tuition payment methods, document deadlines, and whether your academic documents need to be recognized for study in Georgia.

  6. How it compares

Georgia has 15 universities listed, and TSU stands out mainly because it is a public university with a bachelor’s-level option shown in economics. Compared with other universities in the country, it is a straightforward choice if you want a larger established institution, but the public programme listing is narrow and needs checking before you rely on it for planning.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
