Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen offers a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Eng.) in Giessen. The curriculum focuses on design and construction engineering. Students study fundamentals of design, construction, building construction, and building materials science, along with architectural history, urban planning, and CAD applications.
The program includes design, construction, structural engineering, building materials science, project management, management, law, and urban planning. THM combines aesthetics and artistic components with technical planning and construction. During the first three semesters, some courses are taken jointly with students from the Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering. The degree includes project work, field trips, and a Bachelor Thesis with submission, presentation, and a colloquium.
